New Moon Event!
Join us December 1st for our New Moon event! With dark skies, all our favorite sights will be visible: Mars, Saturn, Venus, Neptune, Jupiter, and Uranus! We’ll explore galaxies, clusters, and nebulae, plus take you on a constellation tour. See astrophotography in action and take home your own photos! We’ll also show off the newly restored Abbey Ridge Observatory and take a short hike to the lookout for sunset. It’s going to be a great night!
Supermoon Event! (SOLD OUT)
We're testing our scheduling system with a free event! Join us on November 15th for a stargazing night at Stargaze Nova Scotia. This is the last supermoon of 2024 and happens to be the Beaver Moon, named by Indigenous people because it marks the time of year when beavers start gearing up for winter! You'll have the chance to tour the newly restored Abbey Ridge Observatory and look through various types of telescopes. You'll see astrophotography in action and the images are yours to take home!
